Terms and conditions


This website and all contents is owned and managed by Love My Move.

VAT: We do not currently charge VAT


Terms and definitions used:

Definitions within this agreement the following words of phrases shall, unless the context otherwise requires, have the following meanings:

“Property” The property address for which you have instructed us to sell as stated at the end of this agreement under the term “Selling address”

“Sale Price” The price agreed with your buyer for the sale of the property

“Buyer” The person buying your property

“Seller” The owner of the property or the person given the benefit to or who is entitled to sell the property

“You” The owner of the property or the person given the benefit to or who is entitled to sell the property

“Exchange date” The date of which contracts of the sale of the property are legally exchanged and are legally binding

“Completion Date” The date agreed by both buyer and seller that is the completion of the sale/purchase

“Commission” The amount payable to Love My Move in respect of our fees due from the introduction of a buyer who legally completed on the purchase of your property

“On the market” This means that your property is being listed on the LoveMyMove.co.uk website and/or our partner sites.


Accepting our terms and conditions:

Your access to and use of Love My Move (the ‘Website’) is subject exclusively to these Terms and Conditions. You will not use the Website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms and Conditions. By using the Website you are fully accepting the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in this notice.

You must be aware by signing our agreement that you have accepted these Terms and Conditions.


Other Agents:

If your property is being advertised by another agent, it is your responsibility to ensure you are allowed to advertise with us at the same time. If you advertise with us and you are not allowed to within your other agents terms of contract then Love My Move will be unable to refund you. While you are advertising with more than one agent, you will be subject to our fees and if the other agent sells your property they will be entitled to their fee under their contract terms.



We will take photos of your property before we can start any advertising and this will be at a convenient time to both yourself and Love My Move. You are welcome to send us photos you have taken and we can use these if you prefer, please email them to us at info@ovemymove.co.uk. It is for the owner to organise the property to be ready for the photographs to be taken and the property to be to an acceptable standard for advertising. All photos used will need to be approved by you, the seller.

We may use photographs we have taken for other marketing purposes. Please email us if you do not wish to allow this on info@lovemymove.co.uk.


Property Details:

At Love My Move we require you to take all reasonable steps to ensure that;

  • All statements that you make about a property, whether oral, pictorial or written, are accurate and are not misleading
  • Where information is given to potential buyers or their representatives, it is accurate and not misleading.
  • Answers to questions about the property must be truthful and not misleading. Your property details will be verified by you, the home owner. All information of the property and local area is checked as much as we can at the time of this starting to be advertised.



An EPC is a legal requirement in the UK and must be advertised alongside your property information within 14 days of beginning advertising. If we have not received it at this stage, we will have to cease advertising your property until this has been received.

If you have had an EPC on the property within the past 10 years, this is still valid. Please note, if you have done substantial works to the property it is at your discretion to organise and receive an updated version.

If you have chosen and added this at registering your property, this can not be refunded once this has been passed over and booked with our assessor.


Viewings and appointments:

Depending on the package chosen and if you have selected Love My Move to do your viewings for you, it is for you, the seller to notify us of times and dates you are unable to accommodate these or if you are on holiday.

If we have been notified of any such times, we will plan all appointments around said times and dates.

If we are a key holder, please note this is kept securely and will never be handed out to any third party without your permission.

If you have chosen to do your appointments, please note we take as much information for applicants registering with us as we can to qualify them as a potential buyer.

Please note: If we cannot reach you have not been notified of you being away for a period of 7 days or more, we have the right to remove your details from our website and all portals.



We will ask everyone who has viewed your property a number of questions in order to gain feedback for you. Where possible this will be given to you within 3 working days. If at this time we have not been able to gain feedback, we will let you know.


Sale Boards:

We will try where possible to have a sale board added to your property within 4 working days. If this has been selected and you chose later to have this removed, please contact us to do this for you. Once the board is at the property, this is for you, the home owner, to make sure this is well maintained. If this needs to be moved or you feel this is no longer required, you must call or email us to collect this. If we come to collect the sale board and it is no longer at the property, it is at our discretion to charge a fee for boards not returned of up to £30.

If you have chosen a sale board and then learn this cannot be added to the grounds, it is the home owner who must notify us before we come to the property.


Offer Negotiation:

Where possible we will call you and discuss an offer with the home owner within 24 hours of receiving the offer. With all offers we will confirm as much information with the applicant and then how they will be purchasing your property; Other agents where there is a chain/ broker if a mortgage is required/ bank statement to show evidence of a cash buyer. We will update you in this 24 hour period that an offer is received and then confirm this in writing to you within a 48 hour period by your preferred method; post or email.

At any stage if you have questions about your buyer or the process we follow, do not hesitate to contact us.


Website and Portals:

Website portals are subject to change, they may or may not be controlled by Love My Move and we do not guarantee continued presence on these websites, also sometimes these portals do encounter ‘feed’ issues with property listings and again, while they are correcting these feed issues Love My Move is unable to offer any guarantee when the listing will be back up live and showing on that particular property portal. Sometimes part of your listing may not entirely feed to our portal partners, it is your responsibility to check your listing and inform us of anything not showing correctly or any missing elements. It is Love My Moves responsibility to compile your property brochure, this is checked by you, upload your property to the web portals and this is also checked by you. Our portal partners can change and be updated without your prior knowledge but where possible we will let you know.


Right to cancel:


You can cancel any package within the 14 day cooling off period. If you chose the pay later option and cancel this agreement within the first 6 month period after the 14 day cooling off period, you will then be liable for a £150 administration fee.


All extras added and paid for cannot be refunded past the 14 day cooling off period, and with viewings, not if a viewing has taken place on the property and with the exception of EPC’s being once booked with our assessor.


  • Your fee pays for one property only to be advertised.
  • We are able to offer multi listing discounts at our own discretion, please call or email for more information.


Currently we do not charge VAT.


Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
